The Kallakatta M.A.U.P.School Eco-Club Children have cultivated Brinjal, ,
Gherkin pandal , Ladies finger, Lentils,Pepper,Sweet potato,Spinach,Papaya etc..in the school yard. They produced 50 kg's of sweet potatoes and showed their talents. The school H.M praised their work. He distributed the sweet potato vines to the children. The Eco - Club members planted two rows of sweet potato vines again. Children manured and watered their crops from time to time. The club has decided to conduct a training camp for the club members. In the school yard nearly 15 cents of land is used for vegetable cultivation. The Chengala Krishi Bhavan has supported the Eco-club activities as well.
